Started running 25 years ago. She started
participating in races two years later and discovered how much she loved
being part of the road race scene.She participates in a wide range of race
distances, but particularly loves the full marathon , having completed 48 of
them. Nancy is a member of CARA, and was voted CARA Masters Runner of the
Year at least 3 times, and was chosen as the Veteran Runner of the Year 3 times.
She was first in her age group in the Chicago Marathon the past 3 years,
and consistently wins her age group in the Cara Circuit races. Nancy is
married to Carle Rollins,a podiatrist, who is also an avid runner.
They have two teenage sons. Nancy is a psychotherapist by profession,
who in addition to treating her clients presenting issues,also mentors
them in developing a running and fitness program.
